Wanneroo Regional Museum tells the area's changing story from its base inside the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre. It is a different visit from Cockman House or Buckingham House, two heritage homes also associated with the City. The museum has weekday and Saturday hours but no ordinary Sunday opening.

Local history in one place
The City of Wanneroo presents the regional museum in the cultural centre. Exhibits and community history material look at the region's people and places over time, with activities changing by season. Read the City's interpretation alongside the continuing connections of Noongar people to Country. If you need a specific item or family record, contact the museum team before making the trip.
A straightforward weekday or Saturday visit
The City's opening-hours page lists Monday to Friday 10am–4pm, Saturday noon–4pm, and closure on Sunday and public holidays. That page gives the museum's address as Dundebar Road; the City's museum visit guide shows entrances on both Dundebar Road and Rocca Way. The museum is on the ground floor of the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre; look for a little red truck near its entrance. The library has different hours: walking into the building does not necessarily mean the museum is open. The visit guide describes ramped access, parking and sensory resources if these affect your plans.
The Cockman House heritage visit has its own seasonal and sometimes conflicting notice; do not use these museum hours for that house. A short visit to the museum can provide context before a separate heritage-house booking, especially if you are tracing changes to farming and settlement around Wanneroo.
