At Bull Creek, the Aviation Heritage Museum gives you room to get close to full-sized aircraft and to follow the people and engineering behind them. The hangars can get hot. The operator sometimes changes hours in extreme weather, so a summer visit is worth checking on the day.

Aircraft with a story
The museum's visitor page describes two large aircraft hangars and recommends allowing one to two hours. The collection connects civilian and military aviation, from machines built for long journeys to aircraft associated with wartime service. Some special cockpit or aircraft experiences need their own booking and fee. Buy ordinary admission for the galleries, and only promise a particular close-up or tour if it appears on the current booking page.

The heat and the journey
The operator's FAQ warns that the hangars heat up and may close for severe heat or weather. Call the museum or check its latest notice if the forecast is uncomfortable. Take water and ask about a seating place or a quieter time if either would help.
