Your choice is easiest if you start with a day and a purpose. Saturday has early growers markets and the Canning Vale wholesale clearance. Sunday offers Canning Vale community browsing and occasional design events. Fremantle Markets covers both days. Scarborough's current winter edition adds a Saturday evening food option, but only to a stated October date.

Saturday: a shopping list or an evening meal
For produce, Canning Vale's clearance market starts at 6am, with an entry charge. Perth City Farm changes its Saturday hours by season; Subi Farmers Market trades 8am–noon with a year-end break; and Manning Road Farmers Market lists 7.15am–noon in Bentley. Sunday: check the actual event
Fremantle Markets trades both weekend days, normally with the Yard from 8am and Hall from 9am. Canning Vale Sunday Community Market begins at 7am. Its event page says it finishes at 10am, but the operator's newer visitor guide says 1pm; confirm directly if arriving late. Our Canning Vale guide spells out entrances and the two distinct days.
Perth Makers Market lists the next Heathcote Sunday as 18 October 2026; Perth Upmarket lists 22 November 2026 at UWA. Neither is a weekly Sunday market. Check the event page for dates, location, accessible routes and cancellations before setting out.
