Perth Makers Market

Perth Makers Market is an event series for goods handmade in Western Australia, not a permanent shop with daily hours. Most visitors will find the easiest starting point is the next event page: it names the location, time and participating makers. Dates can shift between Applecross and Burswood, so the venue matters as much as the market name.

Why visit

The organiser specifies WA handmade only and advertises music, food and seating at its markets. This is a place to talk to the maker about materials, custom work or how to care for something you buy. Browse the specific event's stall list first if you have a particular artist in mind; a past vendor list is not a promise they will return.

The visitor FAQ identifies the next Heathcote Sundays and the Burswood twilight dates above. These times were checked 25 September 2026. The Heathcote Cultural Precinct lies in Applecross by the river. The organiser says it has paths without steps, accessible toilets and reserved accessible parking or a drop-off when spaces fill. Ask about a specific route or toilet if it affects your visit. Dogs are not permitted at Heathcote; do not generalise that rule to the separate Burswood event without checking it.

Choose the right place and day

At Heathcote, follow the event's parking or public-transport instructions; Makers Market's FAQ describes managed parking on the lower lands and a roughly 20-minute walk from Canning Bridge Station. Confirm the current train and bus trip with Transperth. The twilight events have a different site, light and finish time, so pack and plan transport separately. Confirm weather changes on the organiser's site close to your date.

For another design market, compare Perth Upmarket at UWA; for a weekly mixed market see the Fremantle Markets visitor guide. The supplied image shows Goolugatup Heathcote in 2021, not a Perth Makers Market crowd or a current lineup.
