Night Markets in Perth: Dates, Food and Where to Go

Choose a Perth night market with published dates, venue details, transport advice and clear seasonal updates.

Last fact-checked: 2026-09-24

For dinner in the city, look at Forrest Place. For a coastal evening, try Scarborough. Kalamunda and Guildford combine food with shopping, while Perth Makers Market is worth considering for handmade gifts.

This guide covers published dates for 2026 and 2027, with separate notes where a new season remains unconfirmed. All times are Perth local time, Australian Western Standard Time (AWST).

Last fact-checked: 24 September 2026. Check the linked organiser’s latest update before leaving, particularly during unsettled weather.

Some markets run weekly for a season; others open on selected dates. Use the individual listings below to check exceptions and venue changes.

Twilight Food Market, Forrest Place

For a city-centre evening, start with the Twilight Food Market in Forrest Place. Its focus is food stalls, making it a useful choice when dinner is the main reason for going.

The City of Perth lists Fridays from 2 October 2026 to 30 April 2027, 4:30pm to 9:30pm. There is no market on 25 December 2026, 1 January 2027, 15 January 2027 or 26 March 2027. Entry is free; meals are purchased separately.

Getting there and access: Perth Station is the closest station. The City describes the venue as accessible for wheelchairs, walking aids and prams, with a temporary accessible toilet during the event. Stallholders can assist with ordering.

Check the City of Perth event page for the current schedule and visitor information.

Scarborough Sunset Markets

Scarborough combines a market visit with time on the coast. Food vendors, retail stalls and entertainment gather around Scarborough Square and the Clocktower.

The 2026 winter edition runs on Saturdays, 13 June to 24 October, from 3pm to 8pm. The City of Stirling listing confirms free entry. The organiser now announces summer Thursday evenings from 5 November 2026 to 29 April 2027 on its 2026-27 summer programme page. Confirm summer visitor hours and holiday exceptions before leaving; the winter hours do not apply automatically.

Getting there: The free Surf CAT connects Stirling Station with Scarborough Beach. Check your connection and return journey rather than relying on beachfront parking.

Facilities and weather: The organiser’s FAQ lists nearby accessible toilets and ACROD parking bays for permit holders. Pet dogs are allowed on a leash within the market, but not on Scarborough Beach. The organiser may cancel if conditions make the site unsafe, with updates on its social channels.

Foreshore access: the City announced amphitheatre seating works with a mid-October reopening target. Its 1 October update still described reopening as forthcoming, and completion was not confirmed at this review. Follow barriers and the current City works notice; this concerns the seating area rather than a general beach closure.

For the next season, use the Scarborough Sunset Markets website before choosing a day. Our Scarborough Beach guide can help with the rest of your coastal visit.

Kalamunda Night Market

Kalamunda brings food trucks, craft stalls and entertainment to the Perth Hills. Check the individual date and venue: the organiser’s 2026–27 calendar includes both Central Mall and Stirk Park, plus several earlier finishes.

Kalamunda Night Market 2026 to 2027 calendar
Date Venue Hours
25 September 2026 Central Mall 5pm to 9pm
23 October 2026 Central Mall 5pm to 9pm
13 November 2026 Stirk Park 5pm to 9pm
27 November 2026 Central Mall, Christmas in Kalamunda 5pm to 9pm
18 December 2026 Stirk Park, Christmas event 5pm to 9pm
22 January 2027 Central Mall 5pm to 9pm
26 February 2027 Central Mall 5pm to 9pm
19 March 2027 Stirk Park 4pm to 8pm
23 April 2027 Central Mall 4pm to 8pm
7 May 2027 Central Mall 4pm to 8pm

Dates and hours come from the Kalamunda Night Market calendar. Do not assume it always falls on the last Friday of the month.

With a pet dog: The organiser’s FAQ allows dogs on a short leash at Central Mall events, but says dogs are not permitted at Stirk Park events, even on a leash.

Toilets and access: The same FAQ lists toilets at Town Hall Square, behind KADS, at the Mead Street bus station and in Stirk Park. Ask the organiser about the route and facilities for your particular event if step-free access is essential.

Use the exact venue when planning transport: Central Mall and Stirk Park are separate locations.

Guildford Twilight Market

The previously listed 3 October 2026 event has passed. A later Guildford Twilight Market date was not confirmed at the 16 October review. Check the official tourism listing and the organiser before making a special trip. The separate daytime Stirling Square Market has its own calendar.

The venue is Stirling Square, at Meadow and Swan streets in Guildford, opposite the Swan Valley Visitor Centre. Entry is free. The listing describes a mix of vintage, retro, upcycled and handcrafted goods, food and entertainment.

Getting there: The square is a short walk from Guildford Station. Pet dogs on a leash are welcome, and the listing mentions children’s activities and a playground.

Use the official Guildford Twilight Market listing to confirm the next event. Although the market has a seasonal pattern, later 2026–27 dates should be checked individually before making plans.

Perth Makers Market twilight events

Perth Makers Market is an option when you want to browse handmade work as well as eat. Its twilight events have their own dates and venues, separate from the daytime market calendar.

The organiser lists a Halloween Twilight Market at Burswood Park on 31 October 2026, from 4pm to 9pm, with makers, food and entertainment. See the Halloween event page for details.

Christmas date needs confirmation: The Christmas event page currently gives 12 December 2026 in its heading but 5 December in the description. The main calendar also lists 12 December. Because those official details conflict, confirm the date with the organiser before arranging a Christmas visit.

For the Halloween visit, use the Burswood Park location on the event page and check its event-specific parking and access information.

Is Inglewood Night Market running?

The Inglewood on Beaufort organiser page says it plans to return in spring 2026, but the sources checked on 24 September did not provide a firm restart date or a dated 2026–27 calendar.

The return is awaiting a confirmed schedule. Check the organiser’s latest announcement before travelling.

Planning your evening

Plan the return journey

Look up both directions in the Transperth Journey Planner, using your travel date and intended departure time. Check the last service home and allow extra time for connections or an accessible route.

If driving, check parking restrictions and current charges at your chosen venue.

Allow for food, weather and children

Budget separately for dinner, drinks and shopping. Browse the menus before ordering, as vendors and prices change. Ask individual stallholders about ingredients and preparation if you have dietary requirements.

Allow roughly one to two hours for a meal and a browse, or longer for shopping and entertainment. This is a planning estimate.

For families, locate the toilets and choose a meeting point on arrival. Bring a layer for the evening and allow time to find a place to eat.

Check before leaving

  • Confirm the date, venue and hours on the organiser’s page.
  • Look for weather cancellations or temporary access changes.
  • Check dog rules for that event, particularly when Kalamunda changes venues.
  • Confirm any essential access requirements directly with the organiser.
